The Test Automation Engineer certification is aimed at people who already have experience in software testing and who wish to further develop their expertise in automation testing.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites apply for participation in ISTQB Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer certification:
Mandatory: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) Certificate
Strongly recommended:
6 months experience as a software test engineer or as a software developer
Take a course that has been accredited to ISTQB standards
