## Overview

The Certible® ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor Certification is a credential for professionals in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) auditing. The scheme is designed to conform with ISO/IEC 17024:2012; accreditation under that standard is currently under preparation. The certification validates your expertise in leading complex ISMS audits.

## Certification Process

- **Multiple-Choice Exam**: 75 questions, 150 minutes Questions vary in point value based on cognitive level

- Pass mark: 70% of total available points

- **Experience Verification**: 5 years of IT experience (2 years in IT/Information Security)

- 300 hours of audit-related activities

## Key Information

- **Exam Delivery**: Remote proctoring

- **Resources Allowed**: Printed ISO standards during the exam

- **Retake Policy**: No limit on attempts, fee applies for each retake
