ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) v4.0 Released – Update for Training Providers and Candidates

The ISTQB has announced the release of the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) v4.0. Certible is excited to share this news with training providers and candidates.

The ISTQB announced the release in a live streaming event on 9 May 2023 at 9:00 (CEST).

In addition, the exam documents have been updated with the Exam Structure Table (v1.6). You can find the new content on the ISTQB‘s CTFL page.

For those interested in the previous version, CTFL v3.1 is still available on the ISTQB website here.

Please note the following updates regarding the sunset and grandfathering policies:

CTFL v3.1 exams can be taken until 9 May 2024 in English, and 9 October 2024 for other languages.

Holders of the CTFL v3.1 and previous versions will continue to hold valid certifications.

As this is a major version update, training providers must reaccredit their materials accordingly.
