ISTQB® International Software Testing Qualification Board

The International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB®) is the publisher of the renowned and globally recognized Certified Tester Programs. The ISTQB® defines syllabi for all Certified Tester levels and a unifying glossary. It further defines a set of globally identical exam regulations, by which an ISTQB-certificate can be attained.

Holders of ISTQB certificates can opt to be included in the ISTQB Successful Candidate Register.

The ISTQB is organized globally through national boards, the “Testing Boards”.

These communities are responsible for the translation and accreditation of training providers and materials, and are open for participation by local testers.

In Austria, the local testing board is the Austrian Testing Board (ATB) ⤴. Certible is authorized by the Austrian Testing Board to act as a certification body for all levels of the Certified Tester certification scheme.
