IREB CPRE Advanced Level (CPRE-AL) Requirements Modeling
The CPRE Advanced Level Requirements Modeling module focuses on the correct use of graphical notations and model-based techniques to express functional requirements clearly and without ambiguity. It extends the modeling basics from Foundation Level to more complex real-world scenarios, helping practitioners produce precise specifications that development teams can act on.
Target audience
This module is suited for requirements engineers, business analysts, and systems architects who need to create precise, model-based specifications. Participants should hold a valid CPRE Foundation Level certificate.
Skills acquired
Holders of the CPRE AL Requirements Modeling certificate:
- can apply advanced modeling notations including use case diagrams, state machine diagrams, and data models to express functional requirements,
- understand how to select the appropriate model type for a given specification context,
- are able to review and validate graphical requirements models for consistency and completeness.
Since July 1, 2022: The multiple-choice test and the written assignment are two self-contained exams, each with its own certificate at Advanced Level!
